校内外各位老师：
为推动卓越教学，澳大利亚昆士兰州政府召集来自九所大学中屡获殊荣的学者，展示其创新教学实践，并探索与中国学者进行知识交流和研究合作的可能性。在昆士兰州政府贸易与投资局（TIQ）的支持及西南交通大学党委教师工作部（教师发展中心）和研究生院的承办下，昆士兰科技大学（QUT）与英国高等教育学会（HEA）将于2018年5月4日—5日（周五—周六），在四川省成都市西南交大犀浦校区合作开展为期两天的卓越教学研习班。
该教学研习班主要面向不同学科背景的中国学者、教师及负责教学质量的教学发展部门负责人提供紧凑的专业发展计划。鼓励参与者参与其设置的关于澳大利亚主动学习教学法等内容的工作坊，积极尝试并及时用于教学实践。目前由TIQ、HEA和QUT联合赞助，研习免费。据澳方介绍，研习班结束之后，将视具体情况邀请部分有潜力的参与者，协助其申请英国高等教育学会教学员认证。

Would you like to make your teaching more engaging using active learning strategies?
Do you find it challenging to demonstrate your teaching quality, other than using student evaluations?
Academics often find it difficult to evidence their teaching quality when they are reviewing performance or applying for promotions and jobs. This workshop gives participants the tool and frameworks to enhance their teaching practice and work towards achieving recognition by UK’s Higher Education Academy.
This two-day workshop, led by award winning educators from Australian Universities, will show you how you can enhance and benchmark your teaching practice using a globally recognised professional standards framework.
Hosted by Southwest Jiaotong University in Chengdu the workshop is supported by funding from the Queensland Government – Trade & Investment Queensland (TIQ) in partnership with the Higher Education Academy and Queensland University of Technology.
三、研修班主讲团队介绍
QUT Professor Abby Cathcart leads the project. She is the Head of the QUT Academy of Learning and Teaching, a Principal Fellow and a Global Strategic Advisor for the Higher Education Academy. The team of Queensland educators who will lead the showcase will comprise award-winning academics and Senior Fellows of the HEA from the consortium of Queensland Universities, they are drawn from a range of disciplines including Education, Business, Science and Engineering, Medicine, and Creative Industries.

为期两天的研习班均提供午餐。
六、名额及报名链接
本次研习班全英文授课。西南交大限20个参加名额；校外30个参加名额，每校限报两人。
请英文沟通能力强、能保证参加5月4日-5月5日两天工作坊，并按培训团队要求完成课前准备的老师，于2018年4月10日前自行点击如下链接报名。
QUT学习与教学支持中心将根据情况对报名者进行遴选，最终录取情况以该中心邮件通知为准。
